Miriam Van hee, flamandzka poetka, tłumaczka i slawistka urodzona w 1952 r. w Gandawie. Twórczość poetki zyskała szczególne uznanie we Flandrii i w Holandii, a jej wiersze przetłumaczone na j. angielski, niemiecki, francuski, hiszpański, rosyjski, polski, węgierski, szwedzki, litewski oraz na j.afrikaans, zyskują na popularności na całym świecie. Jej poezja była wielokrotnie nagradzana oraz prezentowana na międzynarodowych festiwalach poezji.
Miriam Van hee, born in 1952, a Flemish poet, translator and Slavist born in Ghent. The work of the poet has gained special recognition in Flanders and the Netherlands; her poems have been translated into English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Hungarian, Swedish, Lithuanian and Afrikaans, and they are gaining popularity in other parts of Europe, America and South Africa. Her poetry has won many awards and was presented at international poetry festivals in Germany, Russia, the United States, Canada, France, South Africa, Ireland and Lithuania.
Jerzy Koch, kierownik Zakładu Studiów Niderlandzkich i Południowoafrykańskich na Wydziale Anglistyki UAM i redaktor naczelny czasopisma „Werkwinkel. Journal of Low Countries and South African Studies”. Wykłada literaturę niderlandzką i południowoafrykańską, w badaniach zajmuje się tłumaczeniami literackimi, transferem kulturowym i historiografią literacką. Laureat nagrody im. M. Nijhoffa za całokształt dorobku tłumaczeniowego.
Jerzy Koch, head of the Department of Dutch and South African Studies at the Faculty of English Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University and editor-in-chief of the „Werkwinkel. Journal of Low Countries and South African Studies”. He teaches Dutch and South African literature; in his research, he deals with literary translations, cultural transfer and literary historiography. Jerzy is the winner of the M. Nijhoff Prize for lifetime achievement in translation.
