Domnica Drumea, ur. w 1979 r., debiutowała w 2004 r. tomikiem wierszy pt. Kryzysy (Crize, Editurea Vinea), za który otrzymała Nagrodę Stowarzyszenia Pisarzy Rumuńskich w Bukareszcie w kategorii debiut poetycki roku. Ponadto wydała tomiki wierszy: Not for sale (Editurea Cartea Românească, 2009) oraz Głos (Vocea, Editura Charmides, 2014). Jej wiersze zostały przełożone na czeski, francuski, niemiecki, rosyjski i szwedzki. Mieszka w Bukareszcie.
Domnica Drumea, born in 1979, she debuted in 2004 with a volume of poems entitled Crises (Crize, Editurea Vinea), for which she received the Award of the Romanian Writers Association in Bucharest for the poetic debut of the year. In addition, she published volumes of poems: Not for sale (Editurea Cartea Românească, 2009) and Voice (Vocea, Editura Charmides, 2014). Her poems have been translated into Czech, French, German, Russian and Swedish. She lives in Bucharest.
Joanna Kornaś-Warwas, tłumaczka najbardziej cenionych pisarzy rumuńskich m.in. Max Blecher, Mircea Cărtărescu, Dan Lungu, Matei Vișniec, Varujan Vosganian. W 2016 r. otrzymała Nagrodę dla tłumacza „Europejskiego Poety Wolności 2016” za przekład tomiku Moja ojczyzna A4 Any Blandiany oraz Literacką Nagrodę Europy Środkowej „Angelus” za przekład Księgi szeptów V. Vosganiana. W 2017 roku została laureatką Nagrody dla Tłumacza przyznawanej przez rumuńskie czasopismo kulturalno-literackie „Observator cultural”. W 2018 roku była nominowana wraz z Jakubem Kornhauserem do nagrody „Europejski Poeta Wolności” za przekład tomu Fałszywy Dymitr Dumitru Crudu.
Joanna Kornaś-Warwas, an author of translations of the most renowned Romanian writers such as Max Blecher, Mircea Cărtărescu, Dan Lungu, Matei Vișniec, Varujan Vosganian. In 2016, she received the Translator’s Award for the “European Poet of Freedom 2016” for the book My Native Land A4 (Patria mea A4) by Ana Blandiana and the Angelus Central European Literature Award – Translator’s Award for the translation of The Book of Whispers (Cartea șoaptelor) by Varujan Vosganian. In 2017, she was awarded the Translator Prize by the Romanian cultural and literary magazine “Observator Cultural”. In 2018, together with Jakub Kornhauser, she was nominated to the Translator Award of the “European Poet of Freedom” for translating the volume False Dimitrie (Falsul Dimitrie) by Dumitru Crudu.
